A convenient stop for shorter term stays, beautiful mountain views!
The DTR is a no frills property that is very clean, updated, and comfortable. It’s a good value and relatively close to the Icefields Parkway. Note that there are few lodging choices in the area that are reasonably priced.

was only passing through. Lovely view. Not the best rooms. Some mold in washrooms. But was still a nice place to sleep quickly overnight
Rooms very old and definitely not worth the price charged. Area around is beautiful but the lodge hotel leaves a lot to be desired. The restaurant on the property was good.

The staff are very friendly, restaurant and gas station on site and the mountain view is very beautiful.
Pretty standard motel. Our room seemed newly renovated. Bathroom was nice and bed was comfortable. Room was clean. Check in and out was smooth. Area was beautiful. We were also enjoy our mean at restaurant.
The property was just as described, and check-in was easy. The restaurant was nice, and my wife and I enjoyed the tremendous service by a young lady from the French Alps who spent the summer taking care of customers. If you decide to stay, ask the employees how to get to the beach - it's a little bit of a hike down and back, but the views are well worth it!
The hotel is good and a perfect place to stay for maybe one or two nights. There is a restaurant on site but it had closed by the time we got there so it was a few snacks from the small shop next door. The place was very comfortable and clean and completely isolated, a big log cabin in the mountains.
