We enjoyed a great stay at the Hotel du Commerce. It's a classic French small hotel with a modern twist. Our room was clean comfortable and beautifully furnished with a lovely colour scheme We felt the breakfast was good value

They put me in a room right next to where they were doing a renovation and so it was noisy with drilling and hammering from 8 am to 5 pm. could not sleep in or take a nap in the afternoon as it was noisy. they had hallway lights on a timer that lasted 5 seconds literally and so the lights were always going off when walking the hallway and since they were not automatic sensor you had to grope your way around until you found the light switch to turn it back on. Staircase was very narrow so don't come with any luggage bigger than a carry on or else you will have a problem carrying up the staircase as they had no elevator. The hotel does not have any concierge/reception so there's no one to around to ask for help if you have questions. They serve breakfast too late as I had to leave by 8 am every morning so I could not take advantage of their breakfast.

Très mauvaise expérience à l’Hôtel du Commerce à Cluny. J’ai découvert une punaise de lit vivante sur le lit, près de l’oreiller. J’ai immédiatement pris des photos et vidéos pour preuve. Lorsque je l’ai signalé à la direction, la réaction a été agressive et accusatrice. On m’a insinué que j’avais mis la punaise moi-même, on m’a parlé d’“arnaque bien rodée”, et menacé d’impliquer un avocat. Le comble : le gérant s’est permis de me dire que puisque je n’étais pas sortie avant 11h45, “cela n’a visiblement pas perturbé ma nuit”. ➤ En réalité, j’étais en télétravail le matin, puis j’ai pris du temps pour inspecter minutieusement mes affaires, afin de ne pas ramener une infestation chez moi. La chambre, elle, était loin d’être confortable : WC et salle de bain sur le palier, à moins de payer un supplément. En consultant les autres avis, je constate que je ne suis pas la seule à dénoncer un accueil méprisant, un manque d’hygiène, ou des conditions d’hébergement très moyennes. Je déconseille fortement cet établissement. Une telle réaction face à un problème aussi sérieux que des punaises de lit est inacceptable. J’ai déposé une réclamation officielle auprès d’Expédia et me réserve le droit de signaler l’établissement à la DDPP.

L’hôtel du commerce et très accueillant par l’hôtesse. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. Je trouve quand même que nous entendions pas mal les personnes des chambres…. Mais c’est une vielle maison alors on lui pardonne.

Déçu de la prestation et du service

A aucun moment il est noté dans l'annonce ou sur le reçu que les toilettes et salle de bain étaient sur le palier. J'en suis informé à mon arrivée. Pour changer de chambre : supplément de 10€ et pas de discussion possible. Le directeur devait me rappeler, aucune nouvelle. Effectivement l'hôtel est en pleine rénovation mais cela n'empêche pas de proposer au client le service commandé. La télévision dans la chambre est toute petite. Tant que les travaux ne sont pas terminés, cela n'est pas une bonne adresse

Un grand merci aux nouveaux propriétaires qui nous ont trouvé une solution confortable alors que c'était compromis. :-) (Nous sommes très déçus d'Hotels.com) Une belle petite chambre qui sera parfaite dans les prochains jours; l'hotel étant en cours de rénovation. L'hotel étant du commerce, il est situé en pleine ville, Prévoyez de vous lever tôt même en week-end, une occasion de visiter Cluny et son patrimoine. Nous recommandons et encore merci;
