"Great location near downtown Charlestown. Hotel is a cute, historic building, in need of some TLC (lots of peeling paint). Limited parking onsite (3 spaces). Room was very large and bright, but strangely had not a single chair in the room, even though there was loads of empty space. Also, no cup/glass for water--not even plastic cups. Final gripe was in the breakfast area. There were paper to go cups for coffee--but no lids for the cups. Staff is completely remote--did not see anyone...

"We booked two carriage house rooms for a long weekend and it was amazing. Let's start with the location. White Point Garden is directly across the street. It is an easy walk to the Battery. About a mile to Pineapple Fountain, etc. There is plenty of street parking (permit provided on check in) so you could park and walk almost anywhere. Or catch the free Dash bus nearby. "Charming inn close to center of Folly, but far enough away. Excellent food and super sweet staff. The WiFi was a bit challenging. But, it did not keep us from loving our time at the inn. We will be back."

"The property itself needs a little work. There were stains on the ceiling and it could have been a little bit cleaner (there were pee pee drops on the front of the toilet and the floor needed a good vacuuming). We had to check into the B&B from the next door hotel which seemed a little shady inside. The B&B write up claimed the it was located on the beach. It is not. You have to either walk thru an alley way or cut through the neighboring property to access the beach. The reason I rated the B&B...

"Although the place was under renovation upstairs when we visited I didn’t reflect that in my review. The house was located so close to Forsyth park and we were able to walk around historic Savannah with no difficulty. Abigail the manager of the bed and breakfast did a great job with breakfast, waters upon arrival, giving us a map of the are and even a happy hour of wine and cheese from 4-5 pm. "My first trip in Savannah! Amazing experience at McMillan Inn! I stayed at Abercorn Room. Old classic European interior design with many wonderful oil paintings, cozy high beds surrounded by curtains, old school furnitures, lovely relaxing yard with small pool… very warm butler service and great breakfast experience in its beautifully decorated dining room…and I was treated with a free bottle of wine for my gold Expedia membership! Did enjoy the stay and would definitely come back in the near...
