We came down to Coba for one night to see the ruins and cenotes. This was a perfect little place, simple room on pretty grounds. AC worked well, clean. Breakfast was light but our 7 yo loved the fresh fruit.

A orilla de carretera, el ambiente natural de la selva, donde puedes escuchar por la noche miles de insectos, la quietud y la noche estrellada que puedes dusfrutar en la alberca, casi exclusiva para tĂ­, puesto que son pocas habitaciones. El personal mas amable que he conocido, atendiendo personalmente cualquier deseo, hasta preparar un desayuno al gusto, y recomendando lugares excelentes para visitar. Super accueil par Jorge le propriétaire trÚs chaleureux dans un petit hÎtel avec jardin bien entretenu. Grande et belle piscine au fond du jardin. Endroit calme, belle chambre avec salle de bain. TrÚs propre et bien situé. Ne pas manquer.

Perfect place to stay before visiting Coba Ruins!

Perfect place to stay for the night before visiting the Coba ruins, cenotes, or on your way to Chicin Itza. Owner host is very friendly and accommodating. Property is clean and quiet, and everything worked great. As a side note, pool was under maintenance when we stayed, so may be worth checking to see if it is up and running if you plan on using it (we weren't going to use it so did not affect our stay).

BE AWARE OF THIS PLACE!

Be aware! This place charges more than the shown price on Hotels.com if you choose to pay at hotel. It's owned by a couple who just impose whatever price they want when you are there, desperately need a place to stay anyway. They will also use a much higher exchange rate and charge in Peso. There's only a guy at the front desk who doesn't speak any English. Terrible service. Worst hotel experience.

Charming!

This was the furthest of a few hotels in Coba but it had the most charm and was on the edge of a nature reserve. For those who don't want to walk a bit extra to the gates of the ruins, it is easy to get a taxi within town. Plan transportation well though, as the ADO buses and colectivo Kombis do not run very frequently. Worth the visit!

KÀnner mig lurad pÄ pengar. Vi skulle betala vid ankomsten till hotellet och gjorde sÄ, upptÀckte efterÄt att det Àven var draget samma summa pÄ vÄrt konto! Daglig stÀdning stÀmmer ej, papperskorgen var det enda som tömdes, vi kom hem sen eftermiddag till obÀddade sÀngar och rummet var i skick som vi lÀmnade det pÄ morgonen. Frukosten var helt ok, med fÀrsk frukt, rostebröd och kaffe. Dock inte prisvÀrd frukost. Tveksam till Àrligheten hos familjen som har hotellet. NÀr vi betalade kontant i pesos fick vi aldrig tillbaka vÀxeln pÄ ca 100 pesos, togs i nÄgon form av deposition. SvÄrt att argumentera nÀr vi inte kan spanska och de bara var spansktalande.

Tranquilo, cĂłmodo y econĂłmico.

RelaciĂłn calidad-precio estupenda. Cama cĂłmoda, sitio tranquilo y personal amable. El desayuno es bĂĄsico pero acorde al precio. Te duermes con los sonidos de los grillos y te despiertas con los sonidos de los pĂĄjaros. Ideal para visitar las ruinas de CobĂĄ ya que solo estĂĄn a 5 minutos en coche.

Hacienda Coba are thieves!

I'm upset because the workers at Hacienda Coba charged my credit card for an additional $346.24. I have fought against it through my credit company denying these charges. The nerve of this hotel to actually send false receipts stating that I requested additional days stay. The reservation in under another person's name but it was charged with my card! Now my bank is refusing to refund me this money. I will continue to fight against these thieves. Beware of using your card at this place! keep a close eye on any charges they are putting in your card!

Wonderful Stay!

We really enjoyed staying at Hacienda Coba. We were there only one night for a visit to Coba ruin, but we wished we could stay longer. The room was charming and very clean. It has a pretty Koi pond in the back. Simple breakfast is serviced at the reception/front desk area. It's out of the town but only a few minute drive. This is the perfect hotel if you want to be close to the ruin to beat the crowd but want a luxury of modern and clean room with working A/C.

Une petite oasis

TrÚs jolie chambre située dans un petit jardin agréable. La chambre est vaste, la literie de bonne qualité et la climatisation récente et fonctionnelle.La personne à l'accueil était trÚs gentille, et bien qu'elle ne parle pas anglais et nous pas espagnol, nous avons parfaitement réussi à nous comprendre. Le réseau wifi était suffisant pour regarder du streaming. Il n'y a que 6 chambres réparties dans 3 bùtiments et toujours quelqu'un à l'accueil donc aucun problÚme de sécurité, que du zen... Le petit déjeuner est composé de jus d'orange, lait, café, toast, fruits et yaourts. Cet hÎtel est une petite oasis au milieu de nulle part... D'ailleurs ne vous fiez pas à l'adresse mais plutÎt au nom de l'hÎtel pour le trouver. Il se situe sur la gauche juste aprÚs le grand rond-point en venant de Tulum, Playa de Carmen ou autres. Pour manger, reprenez la voiture et en une minute, allez manger chez "Chili Picante", parfait pour un repas bon, pas cher et souriant !

Affordable, place for a comfortable stopover

I was staying here to work conveniently with some local artesanias. This hotel is convenient to the roundabout that takes you either north towards Punta Laguna (to see monkeys), East to Tulum (Amazing beach), West to Valladolid (charming must-see colonial city) or South to Coba (ruins and excellent cenotes). I accidentally booked the room online for 21 days when I only needed 1 night, and they happily waived the penalty which would have been 2x the cost of my room for both nights. The price is low. The location and rooms are charming. Nothing fancy, but for an easy stopover, then yes I would recommend it.

We enjoyed our stay here. The hotel was small and a short distance to Coba. The room was clean and quiet. It was not a fancy place but the place was a good price and the simple breakfast was fine.
