"Sapaxa Spring Garden Ecolodge has been the highlight of our trip to Sapa. It truly has been an immersive experience in the beautiful and peaceful countryside. The bungalow style suites consisted of comfortable, cozy beds and bedding which includes all the necessities that any hotels can offer. The suite felt like an haven of relaxation and provided us with great privacy. "We booked this hotel to have a nap in before our train departed but it turned out to be quite nice for the price. It is the cheapest hotel I've ever booked but certainly not the worst. We would have happily stayed a night if not for time constraints. The room did smell a little bit like cigarettes and the bed was Vietnamese (so hard by western standard), but again for the price we were happy with it."

They won’t give us a room with a view, even though we were the only people staying there. We had to keep our curtains closed throughout as it was directly to an open top of the next building.
