Wonderful!

We enjoyed our 2 night stay. The accommodations were very comfortable and breakfast was wonderful. The host, Antonio, is very charming. We had a car so easy to get to the center but if using the bus, the stop is in front of the b&b

It’s a family business, very peaceful and clean environment. Owner is very friendly. The garden is beautiful and breakfast was delicious. It was homemade and the coffee was the best. Highly recommended.

I believe Antonio said the property was built in thef 30's. It was a good stay and we enjoyed it. The breakfast was good and nice to be social with other guests. There are lots of stairs so keep that in mind.

Oberhalb und am Rande von Coimbra gelegen, war es für uns als Pilger ein gutes Stück vom Caminho bis zur Unterkunft. Bergab ist man in 20 Gehminuten in der Altstadt - bergauf deutlich länger. Bushaltestellen in der Nähe der Unterkunft. Liebevoll eingerichtet, gibt es direkten Kontakt zu den Gastgebern. Die 3 Zimmer sind relativ hellhörig, nur ein Gemeinschaftsbad incl. WC. Frühstück nett angerichtet, aber sehr überschaubar! Frühstück in der Regel erst ab 9 Uhr, wir bekamen auf Bitten hin schon etwas ab 8 Uhr - unpraktisch, wenn man früh aufbrechen möchte.

This is a home in a residential neighborhood of Coimbra. The owner Antonio is very friendly and talkative. Some noise in the evening from the building behind but stopped by 10 pm.

A very positive experience

The host was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay a lot. Room and bathroom very very clean. One can see that the host goes to great length of making your stay as pleasant as possible. We also learnt a lot about Bonsai plants as Antonio is an expert in this area. It is a place worthwhile staying.

Owner very pleasant & helpful. Beautiful house plants & nice view of garden at back. Basic room, clean with good shower. Good breakfast. Ok for an overnight stay. A bit of a hill walk to centre if you don’t have a car. However bus stops right outside property. Personally we prefer white cotton sheets & towels rather than floral sheets & coloured towels.
