"This hotel is a true hidden gem. The property was perfect for all our needs in a great location. It’s close to everything yet feels like it’s away from it all. The staff were nice and helpful. The rooms were modern and comfortable with all the necessities. They had live music and we enjoyed the pool. In the morning they have breakfast. It’s definitely the best hotel in the area and worth visiting again."

"I loved it here and I would glady come back. Customer service was very efficient, fast, and friendly. I rented two rooms that were connected to each other. Both rooms were very neat and clean. Our microwave did not work, I called customer service and a nice gentleman brought in a new one immediately. I love the free breakfast. They had hot and cold foods. It was fresh and delicious. I also love the free self parking, the out door hot tub and pool. I love the two sinks in each room. The shampoo, conditioner, and body wash made me feel fresh, clean, and smooth. It was quiet and away from the streets. Most of all, I love the extra warm blanket they provide in the rooms for those who get cold easily. My only concern for this place was the maintenance. One of our sink did not drain properly and both of our microwave did not work, but one did got replaced. Thank you Best Western Golden Key for a stressless stay. :D "

"Desk staff was very helpful, warm and welcoming! Check in and check out process was efficiently done with a smile! The building is an older building but everything was very clean and worked! There’s a swimming pool that I wish we had time to use. It was nice to have a make-your-own- waffle machine, and that other breakfast items were available. Located right off the freeway with a good-sized parking lot. Pay attention to where your room is and which staircase you might use to get outside or to the lobby."

"We've been to Auburn multiple times but this was our first time staying at Foothills and it will now be our new spot to stay. The price is affordable and the location is great. We arrived Friday night and got checked in by Glenn who was super friendly and super helpful. He gave us history of the motel and let us know about all the amenities offered such as pool, ice machine, lounge chairs by the firepit and also informed us we can go to the bowling alley where they have food and a bar. There is plenty of parking right by your room. The room we booked is spacious and had everything we needed, the bed was surprisingly comfortable. I am a light sleeper and it was fairly quiet where I wasn't disturbed by any outside noise or hearing our neighbors much which is refreshing for a chance. We are definitely staying here going forward when we come to visit."
