"The resort is great. The staff is friendly and the “small town” type atmosphere lends to a great stay away. Our cabin was extremely clean and spacious! Would definitely come back!"

"Breakfast was decent, as long as you don’t have any food sensitivity issues. If you have food allergies then hotel breakfasts are usually hit or miss, so this is expected. There was a nice variety of pastries, scrambled eggs, sausage or bacon, a waffle iron and batter, fresh fruit and some oatmeal and cereals.
The room was clean and spacious. There were loads of channels on the TV, more than unexpected. The town is cute, although everything shuts down early, so be aware of store and restaurant hours. We have visited just after Christmas and in the summer. Definitely more is open in the summer than in the winter. "

"I enjoyed all of it. I loved the Roku TV and I could just watch what I wanted on Hulu and YouTube and stuff. A couple roaches here and there during my 5 night stay, but I loved the hotel. For a budget hotel, it was nice. The smell in the hallways and lobby could be improved on, it's a little humid and hot in there. But other than that, I enjoyed my stay in room 220"

"Very good one night stay in Sedalia. Uniquely themed hotel and lobby. Attractive and convenient facility overall. Front desk staff were friendly. Did not swim in the pool but it looked clean, well-maintained and inviting. Hot and cold breakfast options. I thought it was well furnished for a "complimentary" breakfast....no complaints. Biscuit/gravy, scrambled egg, hash browns, bacon, sausage, cereal, yogurt, muffins, juice, coffee, milk. The staff member in charge worked to keep everything stocked and everyone well served. Hallways and room were clean. Would definitely stay again."

"Arrived and was given literally zero direction on getting into our cabin, expectations or process of needs for the week. First night we spent the evening at Boondockz and had a freaking blast with the locals. Drinks were great and there was plenty of things for the kids 12& over to do.
The rest of the week we had a heck of a time catching anyone in the office for things needed.
The cabin…. There is so much potential for this cabin but man the whole place needs some TLC. I loved the cabin but to hold 12 like the ad said is a joke. Not enough bed space, towels, seating in the living room and literally NOTHING for cooking in the tiny kitchen. We ended up spending around $50 at DG for things we needed just to make it the week. Would we stay here again, no, but it does have the potential to be a great fun place that could be very enjoyable by a bigger family like ours. "
