"Our first time staying at the Belleclaire was very pleasant. The rooms had sound insulation, and you couldn't hear the street noise. Room size was larger than most NY hotels and the staff was really quite amazing and accommodating. The coffee cafe downstairs was fantastic -- really good quality coffee and the breakfast pastries and lunch items were very high quality."

"The air con makes some noise if that bothers you , and the beds are just good not super . But the staff are really nice. The doormen are really nice and helpful . It’s a nice suite we had a delux king suite . For the money it’s a bit expensive because it’s old and they should buy mattress pads for the beds to make them more comfy .

"Staff was the bright spot for our stay. Extremely convenient to theatres, Central Park, and sightseeing. Room was quiet despite being so close to Times Square.
Loads of construction and wonky automatic doors and elevators were really challenging. Very small rooms and bathrooms. Constant pot smoke haze/smell outside from the dispensary and customers on Broadway (I think that’s all of The City nowadays. :-( )"
