When i went to check in i didn't have any expectations. I was on tight budget, 3 days of a conference and was happy i found a room at that price litteraly 10 min from the big fancy hotel where the conference taking place. I was happy to see how the room was super clean, comfortable, and had small extra that made me have wonderful night sleep. The owners are descrete and nice people who are working hard to keep the room spotless. I'll definitly come back next year when going to the conference

Very quiet, clean, and simple stay! After the long drive and a 12hr hospital shift going on 20th hour day I desperately needed to sleep, they were able to get me checked in early into a nice and clean room. Super quiet all day and night, comfortable bed, clean and soft sheets. Slept like comatosed, perfect for work travelers looking for quality sleep. Definitely will be a regular here whenever picking up work in the area.

One Night Trip

I have stayed at this hotel I think three times now and each stay has been fine. The rooms are clean and updated, it is close to downtown St. Louis, and it is a good value.

Restful nights

I mostly need a clean, comfortable, quiet place to sleep, in a hotel. This place fit the bill nicely. It is very suitable for one or 2 people to get some rest. It is right down the road from the Cahokia Mounds Historic site, and about 10 mins from downtown St Louis; so conveniently located as well.

There was a nice staff member at check-in. My room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The price for the room was very reasonable and the hotel is minutes from downtown St. Louis. I have stayed at this hotel several times in the past and will stay there again.

Quick Solo Trip

Quick overnight trip to St. Louis. The hotel is only 10 minutes or so from down town and the price is great. My room was clean and up to date. It is an older hotel in a slightly rough area but I have stayed there several times with no concerns.

Off the beaten path, no frills stay. Served our purpose well, bed was good and clean. Bathroom was clean...it was good enough to stop a 2nd time on our return trip for another night....just a heads up, if you want food, not many options close, so nay want to think about that before you get there.

We walked in the room and saw a quiet and clean space. Not fancy. But just right for the price. We were 15 minutes from St. Louis. With google maps it was easy to find.

I am glad I read other reviews before going. For a very affordable hotel it was very good. The bed and bedding was new and comfortable. No clothes iron but glad it had a microwave and fridge. Some counter space in the bathroom would help but otherwise we very happy. We felt very safe at the location.

This room was great! Even though I stayed in a smoking room the room didn’t really smell at all! Yes there were hints of smoke but not much at all. That was very impressive. The room itself was very large and has the basic microwave and fridge. It was hard to get to because the road it is on is closed so that was a hassle getting around but besides that 10/10 one of the best rooms I’ve stayed at for price and quality. No fast food within 10 minutes but 15 minutes out you’ll have different food options or some small ones in the area-

Great value old school motel

I have stayed at this motel now 3 times over the last 3 years. It is a no frills, old style motel, but the rooms are clean and comfortable enough especially for a short stay. If you need an inexpensive place overnight which is close to downtown STL, then this is a great option. The surrounding area might look sketchy, but I have never felt unsafe during any of my stays. There are plenty of restaurants and a nice little neighborhood dive bar all within 1/2 mile or less. There is also a small park in the neighborhood right behind the motel as well. The television is satellite with tons of channel options. The rooms have mini fridges as well as microwaves and coffee makers. My only complaints are there are small and few pillows, the a/c unit can be quite noisy, and some of the rooms are smoking ones (so pay attention to that when booking). Again, this is a great value for a single or maybe 2 night stay where you plan to be away from the room site seeing or on business. I'll stay here again I am sure several more times during visits to the STL area.

The staff were fine and the inside of the room was okay. The area was very shady and the outside of property messy and felt unsafe. The biggest problem was they do everything through an agency so we could not talk to the motel staff personally. We booked 2 rooms and as soon as the receipt came through realized that they were smoking rooms so tried to cancel right away. The problem was I booked through Expedia and they had to cancel it for me. They didn’t do it in time so I ended up getting charged for 2 smoking rooms and 2 non-smoking rooms. I’ve been using Expedia for many years but if I don’t get some kind of refund I will no longer be using them. BAD EXPERIENCE!!!! By the way, Expedia’s website said this was a non-smoking property.
