Room was basic and not clean. We were told WiFi was available, it wasn’t. We booked and paid extra for a business room, we were given a standard room and refund was refused by the hotel. Not a bad location for getting to cologne city centre.

“The hotel is a bit far from the city center. It is 1 kilometer from the tram stop and 500 meters from the bus stop, and after that you have to walk uphill. Apart from the transportation issue, it is a clean and nice hotel. However, although we made our reservation on hotels.com with breakfast included, we learned at the hotel that breakfast was not included and we were asked to pay an extra fee. Even though we emailed the authorities, hotels.com claimed that the mistake was ours. It was the first time we encountered such a situation. Be very careful when making a reservation on the site.”

the heater in the room did not work. the staff provided a portable heater for the second night's stay, which helped. the room was not as described. (I blame Hotels.com) it was supposed to be arrange for 3 adults and one child. In reality, it could only accommodate 2 adults and one small child. We had to rent an extra room. On the plus side, the night manager discounted a second room by 50%.

Das Zimmer hatte leider überhaupt nichts mit den Bildern online zu tun. Das Zimmer hat keine Lüftung und war somit wirklich super dolle warm und stickig. Auch im Bad ist kein Abzug. Einfach nur stickig und feucht. Das Zimmer war super klein. Man konnte kaum laufen. Im Bad sind keine Möglichkeiten um Sachen zu verstauen oder unterzubringen. Ich habe für die Tage alles im Kleiderschrank untergebracht… Für 1 Nacht geht das Zimmer vielleicht gerade so aber für länger nicht. Unser Zimmer war direkt am Fahrstuhl und man hatte das Gefühl die Leute stehen direkt neben dem Bett wenn beispielsweise die Koffer in den Fahrstuhl gezogen wurden. Dann bellen auch gerne die Hunde Sonntag früh 08:30 vor der Tür und hören nicht auf. Leider kann ich echt nichts schönes finden.
