"Our stay for our family of 4 at Aninga Lodge was fantastic. The room was clean and convenient. We spent a lot of time at the pool with the kids, they loved it, especially when the monkeys and toucans were hanging out in the trees. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The only downside we found was the transportation between the hotel and Tortuguero town. There is a boat provided for the hotel every few hours, but it isn't often enough to be convenient. "It might not be as fancy as it's neighbouring Resorts but what it lacks in this makes up in Manager & staff friendly, going out of there way to make it a memorable stay. Can't thank the Manager enough, helping us out on tours, getting into town and also connecting us to the next destination, making it stress free and it's just a chilled resort, yes it's basic but we loved it, great little pool which Son made as much use of it as possible and well the wildlife around the resort was just amazing!...
