"The room was excellent! We had a 2 bedroom suite that was like a mini apartment! Very comfortable for us and our 2 adult children. The staff was very very friendly and helpful! Breakfast was great and hot items are offered. We would definitely stay there again!"
"My go-to stop in Charleston
This is the place I keep coming back to, and that's the whole point. It's reliable and convenient every single time. The rooms are quiet, clean, and comfortable, which is really all I'm asking for.
A few honest notes. The breakfast is pretty much non-existent, and the coffee leaves something to be desired. But there are some small touches I genuinely love. There's popcorn and a cookie at check-in, which is perfect for my salty tooth, and the lobby always has water, tea, and coffee available throughout the day and night.
Parking is easy, and there's even a restaurant right in the lot. I usually skip it and drive over to Tudor's to relive my childhood instead. :)
Would I stay again? Absolutely. I already do."
"It was pretty good. We didnt even get a chance to check out the pool or gym or anything. The elevators were having problems and parking a block down the street in a rundown parking lot that also had elevator issuesis a pain, especially if you are in a hurry. Our room in general was not in great shape. The staff was friendly."
"Room was well cleaned and the breakfast was well stocked. The night front desk staff was not so helpful and wasn't paying much attention when doing the check-in process."
"Good location. Close to the convention center if you have a need to be there. Because of this, however, I suspect large groups are always at this hotel. When we arrived, there was a USA gymnastics event in town. The lobby was overrun with girls, parents and noise all evening. Our room was fairly quiet though.
Updates needed for sticky doors and loose outlets/ports. Overall 4/5"
