"We were quit taken by this lovely hotel! It’s the kind of place that invites you to sit and read a good book. We will definitely stay here again because of its innate charm. That being said, it has become rather worn down. The bed was lumpy (yet comfortable) and the furniture was showing its age. It was very clean, however. It really is a wonderful hotel, it just needs a bit of a financial investment to bring it back to its glory. "

"It was very clean and at the location we needed. My only complaint was that when we showed up to check in at 3 (normal check-in time) there was no one there at the front desk and no bell to ring. Waited for a few minutes at the front desk then had to change my clothes in the lobby bathroom for a wedding we had to head to. Would have been nice to change in the room! "
