"The reception staff were very helpful. We had several ‘challenges’- the heater in the bathroom only stayed on for 1 minute, the hairdrier did not work, the room was very clean when we arrived but daily room service was poor- only made the bed and changed the towels. "Stayed for one night on journey heading South. Clean and comfortable hotel room. Evening meal was very good but with a limited menu, especially for vegetarian friends we were with. Good position with plenty of parking and small garden. Our dog enjoyed the stay as well ! Have also booked for our return journey."

But a local bar shut in one hour so we needed to be quick. For a place that cost over 330 pounds a night I’d expect a little bit more service.
