Our room was dated and the entire resort has seen better days. Dinner was a mixed bag; the salmon main was delicious but the pork belly was all fat and the vegetables overcooked. "Great to get a call a couple of hours after I arrived for staff to ask if everything was OK - yes it was. My one recommendation - extremely firm beds are not good for everyone. I had a terrible sleep as the mattress was so firm there was insufficient 'give' to support my body correctly, and my hips were aching."

"How stay good we had a room that suited six people and that did not include a spa we were hoping to be able to use one of the outdoor spas as it states that on the site (one of their main selling points) but they told us it was already booked out and we had to book prior but this was not communicated to us so that was a big let down considering we went to that specific motel because we wanted to utilize the spas (traveled from Waikato) but they told us to go across the road and we will get 50%...

"Great rate for the room. Room was perfectly clean ect, amenities however. . . Shower wasnt working, it started and then effectively "ran out of water" it seems. I had arrived later evening, (about 8pm) got showen to my room. But couldn't find somone to address this. But as far as price for a clean room overnight, would recommend 100%"
