"Quite a walk from town (and as of Mar 2026 the road is under construction), front desk not 24hrs, no restaurant or deli onsite. Very minimal staff but the one employee we saw was very friendly and helpful. The property will be very nice once repaired. Our room was missing a window covering, bathroom window taped shut, no soap. Good value for the price but would choose to stay elsewhere next time. The Llamas and cats were the highlight of our stay. "

"My double bed room was medium size and clean. No heat in the room. But you can ask for a small electric heater. Breakfast was good. Scrambled eggs, toast, rolls, sliced cheese, sliced cold cut meats, fruit, sliced pound cake, coffee tea, juices. It's a short walk to downtown area with the tourist shops and restaurants and to the lake Titicaca. "

"Don't book this hostel. The staff in the hostel did not know anything about my booking. They told me they don't work with Expedia any more. They searched their system to help me but nothing came up.
