"I was attending a course in the leisure centre next door. The Aqua was an excellent, relaxed place to stay. The staff/owners were polite, friendly and generated a relaxed atmosphere. The small, well stocked bar carried on this relaxing, informal atmosphere. (The squeaky bar stools could do with fixing but were still amusing) The food is top notch and very affordable. "Great stay, views from the bar/restaurant are amazing. Outside the buildings looks a little dated (partly because of the salt/weather exposure) but felt modernised inside. "

"It's a beautiful old house and nicely located within walking distance of restaurants and pubs. Plenty of parking in the back. The staff are great - friendly and helpful. My only complaint was with the shower controls! After fiddling with them for quite some time, I finally managed to get water at a reasonable temperature to flow from the shower head rather than in the tub, but even now I don't think I could repeat the process."

"Stayed a couple.of nights in a family room - this had two separate spacious bedrooms, each with their own tea/coffee and TV facilities which was well stocked. Although there wasn't a sea view from our room, the view over swanage and surrounding hills was still lovely and provided some stunning sunsets. The hotel itself was clean and tidy and staff were welcoming and attentive. Breakfast was also well catered, and the beach was a short walk away albeit via a couple of steep routes down the cliff....

"Beautiful sea view room. The only downside to this hotel was that it has low water pressure in the shower and no drinking water in the room and had to go to the bar if you wanted any."

"So close to the beach and all amenities and right next door to The Pavillion where we were going that evening. The room was just right though small and compact. The bed very comfortable so got a good nights sleep. It was all very clean which was fab. Lovely tasty breakfast. The parking was difficult as so busy but everything else made up for it! Would definitely visit again."

"Breakfast was excellent, dinner however is a different kettle of fish. To charge £4.00 for 5 onion rings was actually a rip off. Over the two dinners we had in the hotel service was inadequate. Bringing out two dishes separately because one meal wasn’t ready. I’m expecting decent service and pulling the staff off the reception desk to run the and wait table is unprofessional and rediculous."
