The Sofia Hotel

6/10 Okay

"Everything is clean, location is great. However, I think the hotel is too dark inside, rooms are very dark, even hard to see inside the closet when you are looking for clothes, even though all lights were tuned on. Also, the cleaning would always forget to replace a towel or completely forget to leave some soap on the sink for us. When I called them they promptly responded and sent us the supplies."

"The remote didn’t work, the phone didn’t work, and we had to ask for more towels by calling on my phone to the front desk and they told us house keeping comes every other day but never actually came to clean the room. The parking was a mess and I had to pay $45 a night. The breakfast was included but the day we came down for breakfast the lady said it wasn’t and she had to check at the front desk to make sure. We tried to go 2 more times but all the food was pretty much gone by 9am."

"Unfortunately, we were roomed with the loading dock as our view. The dock activity was constant and noisy disrupting our entire stay. The ocean activity was non-existent as the water was unsafe for entry. The jacuzzi/hot tub was so busy and not hot. Too many strikes for me to recommend or return."
