Check in at the “check in centre” was dreadful, slow and not as expected. We expected to be staying close to the sea, as we had when we visited last year, but our accommodation was several miles inland and very very disappointing. "This is a small bed and breakfast with 7 rooms. We liked the common areas (there are several) and the small pool was a nice respite from the hot sun. We were on the ground floor so not able to open windows and it’s a little noisy but not bad at all. Breakfast area was very nice - we could eat indoors or out, and there was a good selection of cold items to choose from. "This is a great place. The rooms were clean, the neighborhood quiet but walking distance to the walled city and the historical downtown. Having breakfast on the terrace looking at the sea was delightful. The staff was fantastic. Rosa and her colleague went above and beyond making sure I was comfortable. I recommend Sensations Guesthouse to anyone looking for a great stay in Lagos. "
