"This is a 2-star hotel at best, falsely advertised as 4-star. The room was untouched since the 1980s—old, worn-out, and depressing. At first, I chalked it up to bad luck, but when I realised the air conditioning didn’t work properly and the room was unbearably hot, it became impossible to stay. I left.
For €300 a night, this is unacceptable. The mattress was the cheapest possible, the sofa discoloured, and while the room was reasonably clean, the overall standard was far below expectations. I...
