"Great stay. Opposite Matara wedding venue so great for that. Clean room, nice breakfast next morning and friendly staff."

"Really welcoming staff. There was a few for the car park which did not seem fair. It’s an overnight stop with a comfortable bed. Some issues with water pressure, taps going on and off."

"We had a lovely stay for one night. Room was pretty, clean and had everything we needed. We had a lovely dinner in the bar downstairs and a good breakfast although , i would say it finished quite early for a weekend. But all in all it was lovely."

"The castle was a true castle and maintained well. The staff is every area we’re kind and friendly. This is a very nice place to enjoy adult only accommodations and my wife and I would stay here again if ever in the area. Food was also top quality and served as if you were at a 5 star restaurant. "A nice friendly farm B and B. I was in the anex which was a 1st floor room with the bath room below. It had a whirlpool bath. I found everything clean and usable. It had a small cupboard style kitchenette which was nice with a sink element and plates, cups and cutlery with tea and coffee. The breakfast was in the main farm house next door which was nice and cooked to order by the host who was very helpful and polite. All in all I would use this accommodation again. Thanks "

"The owners were just amazing. She even did our laundry for us. She was so sweet. The bathroom was clean with updated amenities and the home was clean, quiet, and a wonderful place to relax. Love how close the home is to the pub."

"Second time staying at The Old House visiting nearby family and attractions. We will return as comfortable clean accomodation and really good walk in shower with taps outside the shower which is great. Staff very friendly and helpful . A few minor things were that there wasn't an information book in our room although we didn't really need one. Also glasses left on tables overnight and there were cigarette butt's on the floor and steps and broken garden lamps. Simple things that could be...

"We happened to be there during an epic heat wave and one thing I hadn’t considered was lack of AC. There was a fan in the room but the windows didn’t fully open so it was a bit miserable. Not the hotels fault - but def something to consider if you’ll be staying here over the summer months."
