"Beautiful main building however all the accommodation is in garden rooms adjacent to the property. Pretty basic furnishings but very clean. The restaurant was lovely and the food and wine great. All the staff were very helpful and friendly- would stay here again if in the area"

"Staff were wonderfully helpful, pleasant and polite. We arrived late and staff offered to help take our things to the room. The room was cheap so we did not expect a lot for our money but the room was very basic. Beds and TV and that was it. Bed was comfy and we slept well in a very quiet environment. Would consider staying here again but would want a smoke free room. Thank you to the young man on reception for being so helpful :)"

"There was building work going on and steps up to the entrance which were difficult with dogs and luggage. No luggage trolleys available because of the steps. Our room was on the ground floor which was great but everyone walked straight past our window to get to the pool/bar/ restaurant. We had to keep the shutters down for the whole time we were there. "
