"The property is great but I am concerned about the staff and service (worst I have experienced at a Fairmont property). We ate at the onsite restaurant (the Carriage House) and we were completely neglected. 25-min before anyone could be bothered to take a drink order after we were seated. Another 15-min before our food order was taken. A family that was seated 45-min after us received their dinner before we did. Placed a 2nd drink order after finishing our meals and after 30-min of waiting we just left the restaurant. Went to the front desk after taking a walk on the property and notified them that we had left, so that they could process the meal, and they said they will talk to the restaurant manager. Later we were told that the manager had offered a 50% discount for the poor experience. When we checked out, this discount was not noted and we had to re-explain the situation. Paid in full for the dinner (including a 10% service fee) and was told they would talk to the manager again and would provide a refund if applicable. More than 24-hours later, no refund or follow up from the property, despite emailing them to follow up."
