"Great hosts who were very welcoming, a huge beautiful bedroom and bathroom with magnificent rural views, lovely linen on a very comfortable bed and the most delicious breakfast ever. The entrance and large garden were stunning. I didn’t want to leave and will be back."

"Excellent service from Joe our host. He sent a WhatsApp message before we arrived to help us find the place. Helped with bags in the morning and was a mine of local knowledge. Also provided an excellent breakfast and a comfortable bed. "

"The Flannery’s were excellent hosts. Lovely quiet part of the village along by the Shannon. Lovely room, bed and breakfast. Flynn’s Restaurant offers great food and service and the marina a picturesque walk after. A haven for fishing too. "

"We were visiting Kilkenny and chose Kate’s Rest to stay at. The owner was so kind and took the time to chat and help us with anything we needed, it was a very personable experience. We stayed in a beautiful apartment (we had one double and two twin beds) what came with a kitchen and lovely open shower. The views are unbelievable and it was a great location. We would highly recommend a stay at Kate’s Rest. "
