High quality Guest House

This is an extremely well appointed Guest House set in lovely countryside. Very quiet since away from road and other buildings. It is important to recognise that this is a Guest House and not a Hotel and therefore there is no restaurant. The nearest eating house (local pub) is about half a mile away which in foot is down a busy unlit road. For more restaurants you need to travel the two miles into Crickhowell itself which has a range of restauants and take-aways (though food is not allowed in the bedrooms). There is an excellent breakfast. The only niglle (and it is a niggle) was that salt cellars were not on every table or were empty on some of the others - perhaps trying to tell us to keep our salt levels down. Overall very enjoyable.
