"The room was warm and clean. We have stayed there before on the way to Calais. It is very well situated, just 5 minutes walk to the centre and only 10 minutes from the motorway. The room was large with some cooking facilities, coffee machine, kettle etc. Bathroom was clean, great bath and shower."

"The apartment was adequate. Neefed some maintenance. Our apartment was at ground floor but our friends were up some very steep and narrow tread stairs which also turned at the top. This apartment is not for the faint hearted or unable to manage this type of access. "

The standard room we had was clean and comfortable with all we needed, unless you're a tea freak. There was a pod coffee maker in the room. There is a Friday fruit and veg market worth a visit and interesting attractions within easy reach. An award winning bakery provides an excellent continental breakfast with tables outside on the Grand Square. We lived in France for 10 years but this was our first visit to Bethune and the Hotel Eden. It was a very enjoyable location in which to chill out and relax. We'll be back."
