"Our stay at Y Cartws was lovely and relaxing, very cosy cottage. Was amazing to walk the ground and interact with the goats and horses. The nearby river was very relaxing to listen to, especially in the hot tub at night. Hot tub is at a set temperature which cannot be adjusted.
Amenities were great, kitchen is well stocked with utensils and had delicious home made brownies waiting for us.
Property was mostly clean but there was some negatives, bathroom was either mouldy or mould stained....
"We had a lovely stay at Kingfisher cottage. The grounds of Maesgwynne Mansions (on which this small courtyard of cottages is situated) are lovely; this time of year flowering rhododendrons are a highlight, and a walk around took us past the fishing lake and neighbouring fields with various farm animals. There are fabulous views, and the outdoor swimming pool had a cover enabling us to use it even in early May. very peaceful & highly recommended."
"Great place for a short stay or longer. Super quaint center of town hotel, close to shopping, great cozy vibe, friendly staff and the breakfast included was great. Convenient parking behind hotel. "
"Plenty of free parking The service from staff from checking in to checking out was superb. The breakfast was very good. Our room was large enough for our needs and clean with very comfortable bed. Bar open in evening and prices on par with pubs."
"We absolutely loved our stay! Tracy was the best hostess - we so enjoyed our talks with her and her breakfasts were outstanding! We felt so welcome and hope to have an opportunity to come back sometime soon!

"Room was clean and well presented.
Shower drain was very slow draining which meant very short showers to avoid overflow.
Common room was convenient but could do with a thorough clean and better facilities to wash up with. "

"Julie has a warm greating to welcome you.The room was clean and comfortable bathroom clean and tidy. The staff are great with fabulous breakfasts. The restaurant evening meal were fabulous all home cooked. Good parking. Just a lovely place to stay"
