Especially if you want a more authentic experience where you explore and step away from the overly touristy things, this is perfect. My two younger children and I stayed alone and it was safe. They even had a laundry room, which I loved because I love doing my laundry to avoid going home with a suitcase filled with nasty laundry from vacation…. And it’s awesome for cleaning beach towels and swimsuits between uses! It’s a good location as it’s close to several beaches and historical sites like las ruinas. "
