"Everything in the hotel was good ,refreshing to find free hotel car parking ! The only 'moan' was the lack of electric power sockets ,my room had just 2 spare ones .......and these you need more !"

"We stayed overnight and had dinner and breakfast on the morning of departure. Anyone with mobility issues needs to be careful about which room they book, of those in the castle I think that there are a couple on the first floor, accessed by a fairly grand staircase. The rest require a climb up a narrow and steep spiral staircase. The room we stayed was up said spiral staircase and was spacious and clean, well furnished and with a large en-suite. The lady on reception provided a great welcome and helped during our stay, special mention also goes to the lady who gave us and other guests a castle tour. In terms of dining we found a limited menu and an incapacity to vary it in the slightest. Also the staff were less than attentive."
