"人の少ないリゾートを求めている方にぴったりかと思います。珊瑚礁の綺麗な海、珍しい魚、満点の星空が見られます。太陽光で加熱した美味しい料理、温かいシャワー、自然に優しいシャンプーなどここにしかない工夫が見られてエコリゾートという名にふさわしいステキな場所でした。一つだけ難点を挙げるとするならばブスアンガ島からアイリス島までは専用の小型船で行くのですが、コロンタウンから船の乗り場までかなり遠いことです。送迎は宿泊費とは別途で30USDかかりました。また強風や暴雨はほぼないと思いますがおおよそ2人乗りの小さい船なので不安定で心配性の方は島にたどり着くまでが不安かもしれません。"

"Nous sommes restées 3 nuits. La chambre était très humide (papillons d’humidité dans les chambres) et peu éclairée, nos maillots de bain/serviettes ne séchaient pas du tout. L’endroit est à 15min de marche du centre ville et c’est facile de se déplacer en tricycle de l’hotel. J’ai essayé pendant 2 jours de rejoindre l’hotel avant notre arrivée pour organiser un transport du port de coron vers l’hotel, on ne m’a jamais répondu, et ce, malgré plusieurs messages échangés auparavant avec la manager...

"The staff, especially Mike (manager) & the day shift crew were very helpful with our needs! Location was perfect since we could easily get a tricycle to go into town. Would definitely stay here again. 😊"

"We island hopped and this was our favorite hotel. The room was spacious and had a pretty view. Our room had two bathrooms, lots of pillows and a drying line which was a pleasant surprise. Breakfast was great. Staff were very nice. Loved the location. The stairs were a bit challenging up to the fourth floor room but we embraced it. Loved it, would return. Great value for price. "

"Tucked away down a local street, just off the main road, this place was a good base for a few days in Coron. Staff were lovely and helped arrange early breakfasts and airport transfers. The room had everything we needed and was clean and well presented. The aircon was a bit noisy, even on the recommended nighttime settings, but that was the only bad thing. The shower went really hot and had good pressure, the beds were firm but comfy. Breakfast was larger than usual - two big fluffy pancakes,...

"The room is nice, spacious. Some staff are nice but the other staff is terrible, we had one unintentional incident but one of their staff have a bad attitude and tried to attack one of my sibling which is not acceptable at all. They didn’t handled the situation very well. And plus, it’s a lot of hidden charges about the food and services which is they didn’t informed us from the beginning. We definitely not coming back on this resort hotel.This is our first and last time we stayed on this hotel....

"The room was for 4 persons and we were placed in a room with 2 twin beds! We all were attacked by many mosquitos! And when one of us got up and looked out the window there was a homeless man on the roof literally looking directly into our room .. which was terrifying! We checked out immediately. They would not refund us for the additional 2 days and did not offer to give is a ride to the airport. This place does not deserve any stars and would not recommend "

"Staff is best "

"The property has it all & is nicely designed but the rooms are very small. Our pillows were moldy, so much so I had to get a prescription on the island for my eye that was swollen shut. Shower water is off/on hot /cold but it’s fine. The pool was not well maintained, permanently cloudy. Good location, not a far walk from everything. Breakfast was about the same as everywhere else in the Philippines, basic."

"Discovery Island Resort was incredible. The property was so chilled and tranquil. The room, pool, restaurant and the grounds were lovely and spotlessly maintained. But most of all the management and staff were wonderful. Toni and her team were always courteous and efficient...and made us feel welcome the whole time. Can't wait to stay there again. Thankyou so much for a wonderful stay. Warren"

"The staff and location is the best thing about this resort. Matt, the diving instructor, and the boat captains were excellent. The rest of the staff - cooks,,servers, housekeeping - were so friendly and kind. Although there is construction going on to expand and renovate the resort, they were pretty quiet and respectful. The room we stayed in is one of the newer rooms but even the older rooms were okay. The resort is very quiet and peaceful with ocean views. "

"Like others have said be prepared for stairs, stairs, and more stairs! Definitely not a place for disabled, elderly or otherwise anyone with difficulty climbing. The room was clean and simple however we were two friends sharing a room with two beds, too small and would not recommend except for intimate couples. TV only picked up a couple local stations which came in poorly. The pool is nice but not heated so I took a cold swim in morning. There is a restaurant on site which is good otherwise...
