"The owner was SO accommodating. We had an early morning to get to Cumberland. She got up early and got our breakfast prepared before the other boarders. Walking distance to many things. Very cozy and nicely decorated. The bed in the Lucy and Ricky room was the best I've had."

"For a premier location and price this Hampton was a huge disappointment. Room was old, worn out, sink and tub did not drain well, kitchen area was old, dishwasher was falling out of the cabinet, and hallways looked like something out of the ‘80s. I’ve stayed in dozens and dozens of Hampton Inns over my work career, but this place ranks as the worst. Location is amazing on Centre Street where all the action is, but take my advice and find another hotel or inn."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our 3-night stay. Our king room on the first floor was very comfortable, spotless, had a large bathroom, and even a little back deck. The historic property was beautifully restored and clearly very well cared for by innkeeper Veronica and her team. Veronica's gourmet breakfasts were a huge treat, different every morning, and served with attention to every detail in the elegant dining room. Veronica was happy to share suggestions on activities and restaurants in the area....

"My room has a stale mildew smell and the dresser cabinet door to the fridge was broken. There was rust on desk lamps, etc. I contacted the front desk and they were very professional and helpful. They met me upstairs and moved me to another room very quickly. That room was much better! Kudos to the front desk staff! Breakfast was good, providing quite a few options for this price point, including sausage and eggs."
