"My husband and I stayed at Art Hotel to celebrate my birthday and our 26th wedding anniversary. The hotel is beautiful, modern, and in a great location. Our ocean-view room was stunning, and the front desk staff was warm, welcoming, and even helped coordinate decorations for my birthday, which I truly appreciated.
Unfortunately, there were some service issues. After 10 p.m., there appeared to be no staff on the property—not even security. There are no phones in the rooms, no ice machines, and no clear emergency contact. One member of our group became ill late one evening, and we couldn’t even get ice or a ginger ale. Thankfully, it wasn’t an emergency, but it highlighted the need for overnight guest support.
We also noticed inconsistent service. The pool staff was excellent the first two days, but afterward we had to repeatedly ask for towels that never arrived, and food and drink service became slow. Other guests were often served before us.
Breakfast was also inconsistent. Our first meal was excellent, but the second morning the service was slow, we weren’t checked on, and the food presentation was poor.
Overall, Art Hotel is a beautiful property with amazing views and great potential. With more consistent service and better after-hours support, it could be an exceptional place to stay."
