The staff is friendly, though they speak only German, which might be a bit challenging for non-German speakers. As for breakfast, it’s fairly basic—not outstanding, but perfectly adequate to start the day. "Very nice hotel near the main street. The restaurant was very good with traditional Thuringian food. It looks like the restaurant is used by locals too. The breakfast buffet had plenty of options available. The room was functional and the bathroom seemed newly renovated. The hotel had a sauna, but I didn’t use it."
