"The young lady that check me. I asked about the pool and she said oh it’s open you can go down. I went down to the pool area and needed a wristband and I went back to her and she said I gave it to me and then she accused me of losing it.How could I lose something I didn’t have. She was very argumentative."

"Parking was limited on the pool side . They only had 1 handicap spot and 5 other spots so if you got back late there was no parking close to the room so if your handicap its to far of a walk "

"Its a very nice and basic place to stay. Its on par with the rest of the hotels in the Julian area. Nothing fancy but it works great for coming back to recharge and get rest for the activities for the next day. The staff was very nice and helpful. Easy check in and check out process. We will be coming back again!!!!! Thank you Apple Tree Inn!!!!"

"Disappointed with the lack of aesthetics at the pool and it was filthy. Lots of floating dead bees, mosquitos, and other insects. Also, the water spigot at our site was dispensing brown water. And our site had a sewer lid where you can smell the stench"

"Lovely grounds and very nice hotel. Website should be updated as hotel no longer serves cooked breakfast. Baskets delivered each morning with coffee were very nice but we needed protein. Happy hour was fun and staff very helpful. "
