Room was clean and cosy, views of the river from the balcony were spectacular. Very quiet at night and very comfortable bed. Staff are friendly and helpful, pub & cafe directly opposite. Great value for money.

Overall Ok

Not much to do in Daintree itself. The town isn’t really a town just a few stores and no where to get groceries. The balcony and kitchen are shared like hostel style but you have your own room and bathroom which were both clean if a bit small. I’d probably stay in Caleb Trib if I did it again as there is nothing to do in Daintree.

Beautiful location for visiting Daintree River and doing River cruise with Daintree Boatman. Nice view, air condition and cooking area if you want. The owner of place was hospitable and gave tips on adventures. Lots of birds in the area for birding. 20 mins drive to the Daintree Rainforest for more exploring. Well be back to stay here.

Was in a great location overlooking the river ,nice full length deck with tea coffee making facilities ,fridge etc .lounge chairs and tables Room was not the biggest, but was clean ,Double bed was very dippy and soft (needs replacing) ,not possible for two people to sleep in ,lucky there was a single bed in room .Fridge but no TV not that you really need one. had to park car on road no parking outside units ,so had to do a bit of hoofing back and forwards nice little museum attached to the place .Could also book your Daintree river cruise from motel A few shops just across the road and a cafe . Nice pub that stayed open til late .good food and good price ,

Convenient Place with Helpful Proprietor

The owner was very helpful, and the place is conveniently located. Be advised that it is very basic, with a rather uncomfortable bed and the entire place being somewhat tired. Very convenient for riverboat cruises. No WiFi.

Well situated in the Daintree Village. Very basic accommodation, no TV in our room, no microwave/ jug etc in room, had to park car on the street and long walk to our room. Bit disappointing but served our needs. Lady on reception very friendly and helpful.
