"Truly enjoyed my stay. I wanted something with a little character and not a typical hotel. Honestly booked just thinking it was an older Inn and didn't realize until later it was a bed and breakfast. I thought the room was a pretty decent price so was Pleasantly suprised I got a made to order breakfast with my room. The Proprietor is top notch when you need anything and is always happy to help. If you're ok with an older place with some character then I would highly recommend this place."

"Clean room, friendly staff. Nice bar and great breakfast. We had a lovely time and will definitely be back. Sitting out at night watching the bunnies on the lawn was a nice suprise too."

"Room was spacious and clean with everything you need. It was a bit hot in the room due to the weather but a fan was provided. All the staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. Bar/restaurant was very nice but was let down by slow service on the evening in part due to a lot of the guest coming in all together. Although there is on site parking this is very limited and you may need to park overnight in the public parking area at an additional cost."

"We entered the room there was no kettle,no bin then no remote control. We got down to breakfast for 8.10 am there were no sausages,eggs,or bacon we had to wait untill the receptionist went through to the chef and asked him to put food out. All of this would have been ok if the room had been safe it was a twin room with wooden floors the beds were on castors so when we went to sit on them the bed went flying across the room I landed on my rear end. So we pushed the beds to each end against the wall. So pillows up sat up leaned against the wall the bed shot forward one cup of tea all over me. So we had to put out a chair at the bottom of one bed and a bag at the bottom of the other to stop them moving. Next once beds moved it exposed open wires where new wireing had been done and no plate put on to cover the wires. Safety very poor."

"Turning up to hotel fairly late, got into the room to find that it has not been cleaned. Returned to reception to informed them, no alternatives were available so that had to clean it themselves. She did great and went above and beyond her responsibility. Got back into the room and all was great. They advised in that they will speak to their manager in the morning and will ask for a refund to be issued. Spoke to the team in the morning and they confirmed they'll be issuing a refund. Issued us free breakfast vouchers at the service station that was taken up. Food there was okay, but adequate for the need of food. Still waiting for refund to come through but hopefully Hotels.com will update and issue a refund in the next couple of days."
