"The rooms are small, but big enough for comfort. There was a safe and a fridge with a small freezer, good for storing my meds. A small kettle and some coffee and tea with cups and glasses were provided. There was a smart TV, a ceiling fan to supplement the ACU, and a small desk and chair. There was also an iron and ironing board if needed. Breakfast options were good value for money but the hot breakfast was a bit tepid when I arrived at about 9:30."

"This is not a huge mega-hotel, but it is a decent size. Located just off Hyde Park South, virtually across the street from the ANZAC Memorial and Museum Station, this hotel is clean, efficient, with helpful staff. There is a morning breakfast buffet which offers great coffee, eggs, sausage, bacon, and the usual cereals and juices. The hotel also has a street-side coffee shop with excellent coffee. There is a lot to like about this hotel, but the best is its location. It is within walking distance — say, less than a quarter of a mile — from the Art Museum of New South Wales, from Oxford Street, from the gay-borhood around Taylor Square/Surry Hills, from Gadigal Subway station, from Central Train Station, from Chinatown, from Thai Town. One night, I noticed very slight street noise, but if an ambulance comes up Wentworth, you can hardly expect it to be silent. Especially on the third floor. It wasn’t much both to me, but if you want a quieter room, the upper floors might be preferable."

"I wasn't sure what to expect of this place, after reading some of the reviews. But all in all, it was pretty good when considering the price paid over a weekend while Vivid is on. First the good: The spacious room, very comfortable bed, ample mirrors (including full length), the onsite awesome Brew Bar (Sydney Brewery) which does a great range of beers and a daily food/drink special. Happy Hour is very happy/happy! The proximity to Central Station makes it easy to get from/to the airport and then anywhere you could possibly want to go, I zipped down to Circular Quay every day on trains that were very frequent (Exit 3/Elizabeth St is your best exit). The not so good: The rooms are a bit tired, showing their age, particularly the bathroom. But put into the context of the price paid, this is to be expected. The one thing that stood out most was the faint smell of what I thought to be stale cigarette smoke. It was very faint, but noticeable on day one when I first entered the room. I seemed to get used to it as the days went on though."

"Property was very nice. We had 2 beds and 2 baths which worked perfectly for our 3 person group. Parking was a bit of a challenge but once there we had a metro station within 100m away. Easy to get in an out if you don’t drive. Very clean but bathrooms weren’t the best for lighting or flow but worked fine. Water took a very long time to heat up but once at temperature it was good. I’d stay there again though. No problems at at."
