"Lovely new hotel in renovated, historical surroundings! My room was gorgeous, the shower was large and had really nice product, the staff were helpful (although there was some confusion about how often the room got cleaned and it if was possible to request a greater frequency). Note: they need to staff more people for the restaurant. It's a beautiful place but if there's only one person managing orders, billing, and the espresso bar, they're going to be stressed. That's not the staff's fault, that's a matter of management. "

"Room was super hot, A/C was not functioning. Staff promised to bring a fan but it never came. Toilet seat was broken. Overall middling experience."

"Ordinarily a very impressive hotel (4th stay in as many years) however on this occasion we were left thoroughly disappointed. Shower faulty in the room which led to the bathroom flooding alongside a failure with the lift leading us to be stuck in the lift meant the whole experience was terrible"

Staff good when you're dealing with them (checkin, room service, etc), but too many staff hanging around, using the lifts, talking in the corridors, chatting in their staff rooms with the doors open to the public, expecting you to get out of their way, etc. Who is the customer here?"
