"Room was clean One bed cover had a burned cigarette hole in it. Room smelled like mold. Broken AC controls cover. Lobby very dark. Location very far from eberything. Check in was painful. Lost the reservation that we've made a month in advace and pre-paid via Expidia. Tried to charge us again !

"My issue this time was the air conditioning not working properly as when checked in was at 61 degrees, yet it was warm air coming out and had front desk check it saying it was fine, but it was never cool air coming out and there was a little portable fan turned on when I got there! My stays prior no issues with air conditioning being cooler not warm!!!"

They have some interesting charges/deposits for lost keys and/or potential liabilities, but I am not 100% knowledgeable on Iowa laws, so they make be acceptable but are definitely not advertised prior to booking. Also, the pool is closed, which they only identify upon check-in, and had I known, I may have stayed at another local establishment."
