The room was clean and decorated in a cute way. The view was amazing. Loved getting picked up and dropped off by the trolley.

Stayed for NewYears! Hotel was clean, Staff was friendly! Great Prices! They were overall amazing! I would rather give my money to a locally owned hotel then a chain hotel! We will definitely be staying here again!

This is a cozy property pole position to the national monuments & Deadwood. The owner + staff are very hospitable & make sure you have everything you need. They made our stay in Deadwood hassle free & I am so grateful for their information about the area.

The room was clean but lacking in amenities. The heater didn’t work appropriately. And the continental breakfast was non existent.

Not friendly, had to ask for more towels and manager told me to go find the cleaning lady, never found her so didn't get fresh towels the entire stay. They never made up the bed, in fact never came to the room at all. The air conditioner sounded like a small jet when it started up and didn't get any quieter so didn't use it. It was very quiet location, that part of the stay was nice. Wouldn't stay again or recommend.

Due to COVID they should advertise that they now have nothing- no breakfast, ice, pool, etc. Several places in Deadwood closer that are significantly cheaper and nicer. Was disappointed

There is nothing unique about this property. It's nothing more than a dingy run down motel. There is no maid services until you leave. He can't afford to pay the wages. The ice machines were unplugged. He doesn't like people filling their coolers. He doesn't provide breakfast as advertised as he doesn't like messing with it. The laundry service is two miles into leads and the pool and hot tub are only open during business hours, so plan on being back to your room early if you want to use these. We never did. That pretty water fall in the advertisement is a picture of a waterfall in the room. Oh and I hope your into closeness as the rooms are tiny and cramped. Don't walk away from this one. RUN! Expedia shouldn't list one as it's an embarasment to their name. Spend your money elseware.

Horrible customer service. Needed to switch nights that we were staying due to travel changes. I called repeatedly for 2 days and left messages that were never returned. No answer back at all. Waste of money, pretty disappointed. Stayed at The Hotel by Gold dust instead, great service there AND people answered the phone when i called.

Amazing place to stay! Peaceful, quiet, safe and just minutes from town. Also only an hour to even more beautiful and amazing! The woman working at the desk was incredibly kind and accommodating! We will definitely be bringing our bikes back here!!

They list themselves as pet friendly which usually means, in a destination location, that you can leave your pet in the room while you go eat etc. However that was not true and after driving 300 miles we could not stay there and could not find other accommodations in our budget and drove another 300 miles back home. They also would not clean your rooms until after you checked out and would not provide a breakfast that was also advertised as included. I tried to call the motel when I made the reservations to insure that there would be no issues but they never called me back. I would definitely not recommend this motel. I feel they were very dishonest.
