I paid $50 for the room; you get what you pay for, and I paid for a cheap hotel. In that sense, Best Value (an aspirational name, to be certain) was as I expected.
Oddly, my rather small double queen bedroom came equipped with two televisions; one non-functioning set in the cabinet, and a second, working television on top. Odd. There were also two chairs shoved under the desk. I had the impression my room was makeshift storage for leftover items. Over all, my room appeared clean enough. The public areas less so. The carpeting in the hallway was ratted and stained, baseboards were missing, tiles were discolored, etc. That said, the staff on duty were cordial and attentive. It’s not a place I would consider suitable for children or romantic rendezvous, but as someone traveling alone on a budget, it was acceptable. Just.
