"I was told there are a lot of overdoses there. It is a hard place to stay if you are trying to sleep, work, read, or really do anything productive. Very loud clients that stay up late and I even think my neighbor (who was smoking a joint in front of my door when I showed up) got a hooker. Overall terrible experience."

"Wonderful and conveniently located hotel as we traveled up the coast for the 4th of July holiday. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable and nice and cool despite the heat. We will likely stay again!"

They gave us another room, ,which was fine. The following day, we were gone all day, returning after midnight to find no housekeeping services had been provided - garbage remained and used towels were still in the bathtub. "Great classic hotel, with friendly/helpful staff. Would stay again for sure. Minor issues: there were a couple of spots of dark mold in the corner of the walk-in shower. A bit of bleach, etc, could take care of that. Also, the furniture on our balcony was covered in a thick layer of dust/pollen. We asked that someone vacuum it and someone on staff told the front desk that they'd done it, but the balcony was never touched."

One little thing I would change is , well we stayed only 2 nights and we were gone our 2nd day there all day and I was hoping house keeping would have come in and cleaned up, made the beds,refilled towels,coffee,shampoo, and such.
