"Although we did not have time to go to the casino, the hotel section is very clean, quiet and spacious. The area is scenic, with shopping and restaurants in nearby Port Perry. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. Overall all, we enjoyed staying at Great Blue Heron, and will come back again."

"For the price of the room it was acceptable. Staff were very friendly and nice. Room was clean. Shower head needs some attention as it was clogged and could only have it on hard pulsating water out of the middle of shower head. Would not work in any other setting. The only other issue was that there was a hole around air conditioner that had just been stuffed with a shirt but you could see straight outside of unit.beds were very comfortable. Room was clean. We would stay there again... maybe management will put some money into units to correct the 2 small issues."

"Nice little hotel. A little out of date but no real issues. 5 min walk to kawartha ice-cream store. Our room had a king size bed a sauna and a whirlpool tub. Everything worked. Continental breakfast was decent. I would come back again"
