"We had such a great stay at Hampton Inn St. Simons Island! The hotel was super clean, quiet, and very family friendly. My daughter absolutely loved the pool and looked forward to breakfast every morning, which honestly made the trip even easier for us. The location was PERFECT. "Great location. ECHO food was very good. Staff courteous. Cleanliness was excellent. We were in the historic building and the room was very small. The issue we had was the room location inches from the side entrance stairwell. This made it very noisy often at night."

"Rooms were clean, location is excellent and so is the staff. I chose to pay more for this hotel because of the location, it's convenience to downtown and the restaurants in the area. It met those expectations. My only complaints are that twice the landscapers in the area were operating a blower early in the morning waking everyone up. The TV remote sucked. "The Kress was an amazing surprise for my wife and I during a quick overnighter to meet up with some old childhood friends. I grew up in this area and the downtown district had been forgotten. It was great to see this place back to life. The Kress has done an excellent job restoring this old department store. The rooms are incredible with large common space and bedrooms. I wished we had booked an extra night. "
