Our stay in Destin was a very pleasing and memorable experience especially with the excellent service of the Terrace. The unit was clean and ready for use, no hassle in checking in after a long flight. Amenities were within reach. My kids were very happy to use the pool at nights. It is very quiet at 10pm. There were enough parking space and it’s free. Hassle free check out. Thanks to the staff! We will surely comeback.

The elevator didnt work. It should have had yellow caution tape on it. After fire dept got us out it still did not have proper signage put on it. Also, no smoking signs dont work if not monitored. Smelt and saw people smoking. If you arent going to enforce. Dont make that rule.

Although the room had a great appearance it needed attention to detail. As to call for maintenance for a broken kitchen chair, non functional TV remote & bathroom light. Blinds in the master bedroom were detached and didn’t close properly. The room was consistently humid because the AC wasn’t working properly. We paid for a 5 night stay but hotel had us booked for 4 nights and locked us out of our room on the 4th day. Had to get an updated room code.

We've stayed at the Terrace for 5 years in a row and enjoyed each trip. It has just what our family of 5 needs; nice pool and hot tub, an exercise room, parking garage (if the owner has a spot) and is located off the beach a bit so you don't have quite as many visitors.

Pelican Beach

Condo was really nice. Location was great! However I was disappointed that the beach was roped off and you could only sit behind all the chairs. Really hard to watch your kids play with 100 chairs in front of you.

We were evacuees from Hurricane Michael and I looked for many hours for a place with 3 full beds. We were commuting 6 hours a day and working 10-12 on cleanup in Mexico Beach and our goal was to have a bed to sleep in for all of us. The property I booked said it had 3 beds. However, when we arrived it had two beds. So I am 6'2 and 240 lbs and slept on the couch the whole time. Tried to remedy with property with another room or compensation and they would have nothing of it. Told us it was not guaranteed even though we paid in advance and it clearly stated on the reservation we would have 3 beds. Also told us Expedia was the one who should correct this and Expedia tells us to deal with the property directly. I can understand if they could not honor this but the lack and any consideration given the circumstances it unfortunate. Don't patronize this property.

The Terrace is a nice place to stay and our family enjoys it. It's close to the beach, but not on it, which is nice. The view from the balcony is always great.

When we got there we had to park in the garage because there was no where to park to check in . I like that it was close to the beach but we didn’t stay where we checked in our room was at the other hotel close to the road I didn’t understand why. I ask for a king bed and twins bed when we checked in our room we had a king bed and a queen bed so I called the office they said they was sold out like really it was 6 of us we made it work but I was mad overall we had a good time

Satisfactory stay at the terrace.

Overall acceptable stay. Not a lot of service provided. You check into your space and that’s all. You do your cleaning, washing, manage your garbage etc. that’s all new for me. Don’t know if that’s the new trend. They responded very promptly to service requests.

We love it, As l Always stayed at the Pelican , the Terrace is better, only to walk more distance to the beach bothered me lol The pool and hot tub perfect, not crowd as the Pelican, The view is perfect.
