"The hotel had been abandoned. We managed to check-in but there have been no staff onsite since. A local has told us that the Indian company that owns the hotel has not paid the local staff wages and they have been forced to leave. The hotel is filthy, there is literally no staff anywhere to be seen. "

"Personale estremamente gentile e disponibile, siamo rimaste davvero colpite per la loro cura verso il cliente a qualunque ora del giorno e della notte. Colazione molto variegata e buonissima. Per quanto riguarda l alloggio avevamo il primo bungalow vista mare, molto bello come da foto. Non c è da aspettarsi una cura della struttura però per il prezzo pagato assolutamente valido! Per quanto riguarda il rumore avevamo dei vicini un po’ chiassosi ma non è colpa della struttura, ma solo della...

"Rustic hotel accommodation right on beach, 10 minute drive out of Arugam Bay. Tuk Tuk accessible. Basic accommodation with wifi only in verandah of our unit (11), and in dining area. Lovely atmosphere and staff are very accommodating and friendly. Loved their Sri Lankan meals. It’s not 5 star hotel but the staff make up for it. "
