"The room, and hotel overall, was clean and presentable. The showers were clean with convenient dispensers with body wash, shampoo and conditioner provided. Water pressure was good. Decent size fridge and adequate TV. Pillows were surprisingly comfortable. I did not check out the pool or eat breakfast there. Nice hotel in a beautiful area. Not right on the lake front, but close to walk to."

"The property is on Lake Superior with a woodland walking path, and has fun art inside and out. The food is healthy and delicious, all the staff are so helpful and the free programing is great. And, of course, Bayfield has a lot to offer, from national parks to great gift stores to a relaxed vibe. The ferry ride to Madeline Island is a lot of fun. And picking fruit on the orchards overlooking the city is a bonus."

While some might complain about the lack of television, it was very nice to have weekend unplugged from big media. I highly recommend Second Wind. " Lakewoods resort was a blast! We had a room by the pool with snowmobiles parking right outside the door. They had plenty of parking for trailer too. The room and the food was phenomenal. The kids menu for breakfast was expensive but yet excellent. It was a great family experience for us. "
