"The pictures looked nothing like the resort. The resort was run down, every lounger was broken, hammocks had holes etc. The room was not the cleanest- mirrors had a thick film, perimeter + corners all had debris. The food in the pictures did not exist and in fact the food was awful! It was the same everyday, beans rice + meat. The view however was amazing, the staff was great and the drinks were nice and stiff. "

"The property is good. You can tell it's getting a bit old. Could use some updates The shuttle is nice to get around, and everything is reasonably close if you want to walk up and down the roads."

"Really impressed with the resort overall. Very well suited for families with young children with water park, entertainment. Not a good spot for people who want an adult only environment. Food at the restaurants was great except for the Steakhouse Restaurant which we were a bit disappointed in the quality of the food. No lineups to get in to the restaurants and nice variety to choose from. Our room (3032) was exceptional with an amazing view of the pool and ocean sunsets over the mountains. Our family in room 118 had sewer smells in their bathroom that was never resolved. Housekeeping restocking was rarely fully done. Not an huge issue for us but we always seem to be missing something, soap refill or facecloths or towels which would be resolved a day or two later."

"Resort is clean but is in real need of updates and some added amenities. Onsite restaurant was good but very expensive- a single serve bottle of water was more than beer (and I had asked for tap water but just accepted the bottle) The beach could use a clean up and taking too. Lush gardens and we got to see lots of monkey’s which was cool!"

"The rooms upon arrival need to be inspected. I had to room change multiple times, 1st room was dirty and the 2nd room had a broken tv with no tube curtain. They did come quickly to address the issue with the TV, however after traveling over 8 hours and multiple trips to the front desk more than an apology was expected. The bar, pool and restaurant staff were very pleasant. The food could use an overhaul and update the entertainment. Transportation should also be provided or at least cheaper than the airport service. "

"Our family had a terrific time at this lovely property. The beautiful gardens were full of iguana and butterfly sightings and it’s just a 3 min walk to the beach. The included breakfast was quality and the rooms were simple but clean. Our kids loved the pool and we adults found paradise sipping the pina coladas delivered poolside. The private exited parking was also a plus as were the super friendly and helpful staff. Great find! "
