Umbrellas were thoughtfully provided in convenient locations throughout the property, which was especially helpful during the sudden downpours we experienced on a couple of days. "What a beautiful place to stay. We booked a room with a sea view and balcony, both were fantastic. The kitchen was well equipped enough for us to make our own breakfast and enjoy the view on the balcony. On the last day a group of monkeys decided to come and visit us at breakfast too! "We absolutely loved our stay at Tulemar in the 1 bedroom villa. The property is incredible with the immersion in the jungle. We enjoyed our patio and seeing sloths and monkeys daily! The shuttle service on property was great to get us around to the beach, restaurants and front entry. The concierge service is incredible, Jorge was so wonderful answering questions leading up to the trip, and during to help in any way he could. "It felt like a roadside motel. The food at the attached restaurant is good. Breakfast was included daily, which was nice but the options got really redundant by the 3rd or 4th day. The common areas were clean until the last two days when a large group checked in. Our final morning the common areas were littered with trash and belongings everywhere. The rooms are oddly shaped with no storage areas and have the strangest echos. You have to leave your key for housekeeping to service them. Close...

"The views from Mountain Top are incredible. We could see monkeys, toucans, macaws and more from our balcony and the hotel's restaurant. It's so close to the national park but has its own jungle on site. Jose, the hotel's wildlife guide, was fab - he took us on two guided tours and wad always excited to spot animals and tell us more about them. Would definitely recommend this hotel if travelling to Manuel Antonio and try to book the ocean view if you can"
